OVEN & STOVE PROBLEMS

DOES NOT TURN ON

For an electric stove won’t ignite, first be sure the appliance power cord is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are switched on. You will want to check the pilot light for gas models. If the stove is plugged in and the pilot light is on, it means some other part of the stove will need to be fixed. The reason for the issue might be an surface element, infinite switch, igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER DOESN’T HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that does not produce heat will not do much good. Your oven doesn’t heat when there is a broken oven sensor or bake element. Your burner does not ignite when an element breaks or if the burner switch or the terminal block don’t work. We know how to fix these common problems in less than 1-2 hours after our arrival.

TIMER ISSUES

It’s reasonable to assume the control panel on an oven is broken when the program or timer settings are not working. If that’s the case, we know how to replace control panels for GE, LG, Sears, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on all of the control boards and replacement parts we use for this type of oven repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You always want a hot oven. But not too hot! When the heat is too hot, it could be because of a problem with the sensor or thermostat. Our repairmen can find the reason for the issue and then repair it. But be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of body burns from the very high and unpredictable heat.

IGNITER DOESN’T LIGHT

A common stove issue is when an igniter will glow but will not light. The reason this occurs is from a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We can determine if we can fix these appliance parts or if we will need to replace the parts.

DOOR DOES NOT OPEN

Newer self-cleaning types of ovens can have door issues often. The door doesn’t open after the cleaning cycle. We inspect the door closure, thermostat and seal to find out why the door won’t open up and then we complete the repair so we can put an end to the issue.
